With this being one of the only Long John Silvers establishments left in indiana I always try to stop here anytime I'm in the area. This was one of my mom's favorite places to eat when she was alive and I have so many memories eating here with her throughout my life so it's very sentimental to me!
The manager herself served us.... 20 minutes before closing... fresh cooked delicious food for 5, a smile, a sense if humor, and a warm heart. We even had a great laugh about how awesome fish are.
We live out of town & our local Long John Silvers was closed down & myself & family have been craving it so we drove to Elkhart for Long John Silvers & it did not disappoint!! Food was fresh & delicious & the staff was very nice & friendly. Definitely worth the drive & definitely coming back! Thank you
Have not been to a Long Johns in years. Felt like stepping back. Great service, was only a couple individuals working so took a while for the food. But came out hot and delicious. Was a good choice, glad the whole family got to share in the evening.
I like their hush puppies and clams. The chicken is good too. Tasty. It's always clean, especially the soda fountain. That's so rare at most places.
The fish was amazing along with the hush puppies! My mother got green beans and coleslaw and she said she loved the way they seasoned the green beans. I got fish with extra hush puppies which I expected to be 2-3 extra but there was a lot more than I thought!! Me and my mother would definitely eat there again and HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!! It was a very good price for what we got.
LJS has been around for a long time. The food is always good and the prices are always reasonable. I really love the fact that they are expanding thier menu and including a lot more grilled menu items! Unfortunately the camera on my phone is bad which is why I don't post pictures. Maybe when I get a new one I will.
Fast service and good quality food. Love LJS. I secretly stop here and have lunch sometimes but just don't tell the wife because it's so bad for you! But man it is amazing. I do hope they never go out of business. I get the 3 piece chicken, fries and coleslaw. Yummy. I also love they serve Pepsi. So many have gone out of business and this one hasn't which I am so glad about. They are more and more rare to find which is very sad.
